Description:
This is a Colt Detective Special , Lettered to Colorado State Penitentiary Jan, 3 1941. Its a prison gun with Colt Factory Stamping on the butt, C.S.P.#2 . Canon City Colorado. in a shipment of 4 pieces. Its a well used piece on the front strap and back strap but the rest of the gun is in pretty nice condition. The cylinder and bore are excellent indicating it was not shot much at all, the breach looks almost new.the grips are warn but in solid shape. All in all a very shootable gun with some Prison history and Factory letter. Mfg in 1938 but shipped in 1941.
