Description:

The Expiration of Rollin White's Patent ushered in  the era of the inexpensive spur trigger revolver;
Bacon  Arms Company was to be a Major Manufacturer of these guns between  1869-1878.    Some of the "Trade Names"  used on these revolvers  include  Bonanza,  Big Bonanza,  Conqueror,  Daisy,  "Express",  Guardian,  Little Giant,  Kentucky, Penetrator...    These guns were manufactured  over several years,  and there are many variations other  than caliber;   these include engraving,  marking,  and  grip shape.

This "EXPRESS",  Large Frame Spur Trigger,  Serial No. 2459 , was made around  1878,  has a 2-3/4 inch Octagonal barrel,  .38 caliber,  about 90% of the Original Factory Nickel finish is present... The Revolver  is 100% Mechanically Correct.  A Unique Name and revolver, in the Larger Caliber.
