Small Early 20th Century Conceal & Carry Revolver
Here we present an Iver Johnson Revolver, chambered for 5 shots of .32 S&W. This revolver was manufactured in the early 20th Century in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company conditioned to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense.
The top of the barrel is marked “IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG, MASS. U.S.A.” followed by patent dates.
The overall condition is near fine. The original nickel finish is about 90%. The case colors on the trigger remain strong. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips are very good and bear the Iver Johnson trademark owl. The bore has strong rifling with some mild spotting. The action on this revolver is excellent.
