Description:
Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a Winchester Repeating Arms Co. model 1885 single shot High Wall rifle chambered in 32 W.C.F. that was made in 1890. The rifle wears a #2 – 26” barrel with a MINT BORE! The tang sight is a Lyman 2A that is in excellent condition and functions just fine. The “Beech” front is a Lyman No. 5A Combination sight and functions just fine. The rear sight appears to have been removed long ago as shown. The rifle has NOT been cleaned or altered since it was found. Keep that in mind when viewing the pictures. It has been sitting for decades and has grime and small spots on the bluing that will clean off if wanted. The receiver was case colored and now just shows shadows of the past. The barrel retinas most of the finish as you can see in the pictures. The forearm is solid with no cracks and shows light use marks. The butt stock is the same and wears the original butt plate. This is a very fine 128 year old rifle in very fine condition as you can see. $2,499 plus $75 shipping to your FFL or valid C&R holder. 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments. All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s.
