Description:
Serial #31724, .22 LR, 6 5/8" pencil barrel (.480" diameter at the muzzle) with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a 1922-made, matching numbered pistol that retains 97-98% of the original blue finish with some mild silvering at the muzzle, along a few of the high edges, and at the heel of the butt. Additionally, there are some very light handling marks and small scratches along the surface of the metal, and a very small and unobtrusive import mark on the underside of the barrel. The checkered walnut, diamond-center grips are likewise in excellent shape with very little noticeable wear and only some very mild flattening of the points. A single original two-tone magazine is included and the mechanics are flawless. This is a fabulous example of a Pre-Woodsman and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
