This Model 1894 is a Special Order 20 inch Short Rifle with Shotgun Butt and saddle Ring. Everything is correct on this Rifle including the 8 3/8 inch Forearm. Refer to The Madis Book page 420. The serial number of this example is 6611XX placing date of manufacture in 1913, correct serial number range for short rifles of that period. Overall condition is fine with 50% original factory untouched finish. The bore on this "Nickel Steel Barrel" is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale.
