In 2001 Lew Horton Distributors and the Smith and Wesson Performance Center announced the Heritage Series, which featured Turnbull color case hardening on the frame and crane. The Heritage Series included the Model 10 in .38 S&W Special, and one beautiful example has found its way back to us.
This Smith & Wesson revolver is in like new condition, with 98% of the Turnbull color case remaining and wear marks typical for its age on the hammer and trigger factory color case hardening. 90% of the factory bluing remain on the barrel and cylinder, with drag marks typical for its age. Wood laminate grips are original.
