The metal surfaces of this undated revolver retain 90% original blue with a small area of very light pitting on the cylinder. The smooth walnut grips rate very good with a few dings, handling marks and scratches but nothing alarming. The revolvers parts are matching including the grips. The back strap has a unit mark that reads "L.M.22.15.", which is likely a Kriegsmarine marking. The letter M is also stamped to the front of the frame that I believe is Kriegsmarine related. Note: The cylinder doesn’t always turn when the hammer is cocked leading me to believe it needs a hand spring that requires mechanical attention to fix. A interesting Reichsrevolver for the German collector. Its overall condition is good plus - very good as described and photographed. Inv.: # 12-143 SOLD Antique: Yes |
