SOLD Pending Funds / US H. Aston Percussion Pistol. This pistol serial # None, cal. 54, has markings on the lock that read US / H.ASTON & CO., also marked on the lock tail "MIDD TN / CONN / 1851. Light government inspector marks "WN" on the barrel and "C" on the brass back strap & trigger guard. Patina and light surface rust on iron parts, ram rod functions correctly, wood is dark, a bit shiny where its held, has what appears to be a inspectors cartouche on the left side, there’s also a ¾” crack toward the top of the stock and a chip in the bottom of the wood see photos. The overall condition as photographed and described is good. Inv.: # 12-10
