ENGRAVED European RING TRIGGER Revolver

Here we present an Engraved European Ring Trigger Revolver by Mussen-Lallemand Jacques, made in the early 20th Century in Liege, Belgium. This maker was active between 1908 and 1952 and used variations on the “MJ” marking seen on this revolver. This one is nicely engraved throughout and was later fitted with mother-of-pearl grips. It features a ring trigger and a sliding tang safety making it ideal for pocket carry.
The left side of the frame is marked “MJ” The right side of the frame is marked “R”. The bottom of the grips is marked “LAS” along with a serial number.
The overall condition is near fine. The nickel finish is 95%. Markings and engravings are clear. The mother-of-pearl grips are luminescent and in very good condition. They have the potential to fit a bit better by removing material where the mainspring touches. The bore is clean with a few patches of light pitting. The revolver functions in double and single action, but the cylinder does not reliably revolve. Here is a handsome European carry revolver from the early-20th Century!
