1930s Commercial Broomhandle Pistol
1930s Commercial Broomhandle Mauser 7.63 mm Mauser 5 1/2 inch barrel blued finish. These are easily identified by the reinforced chamber, later high polished finish and lack of numbering of all the exposed parts. The chamber is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N" and left side marked with a single "crown/U" proof mark. Additional "crown/U" proof marked on upper rear of the breech bolt. The right side rear frame is marked " WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR/D.R.P.u.A.P." with the Mauser Banner in a milled panel on the left. See the pictures of the Mauser logo it shows a scratch in the logo that really don't stand out due to where it is located. It just don't detract from the gun. Standard inverted "V" fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight graduated from 50-1000 meters and late style 12 groove walnut grips with a lanyard loop and ring on butt. The pistol has bright original high polished blue finish with only slight edge wear from likely being put in a holster and a little wear on the front edge of the magazine from holster wear also. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. A super nice example of a 1930 Commercial Broomhandle pistol. The serial number is 892635. Also this comes with a Mauser Shoulder Stock that is in very good condition. it too is an original not a reproduction. An FFL is required for the transfer or a C&R. I would like to do a face to face transfer if possible. If it not shipping and insurance will be determined after the sale. Take a good look at the first couple of pictures I noticed some dust some of the other pictures so the first two you will see were taken right afeter I wiped the gun off with a gun cloth . 419 467 2252 Scott
