Description:
30-06, serial number 135XXX. Barrel date 4/09. Early brittle receiver, sold as collector item only, not intended to be fired. Appears all original. Overall in excellent condition for era. No extra holes in receiver, turning plumb. Correct milled fittings. SC on bottom of rear lug of bolt. Bayonet lug front band shows blue over shallow pitting, most likely replacement. 4 groove rifling. Bore shows extensive wear and light pitting. Correct finger groove, single lug stock. Has E maker's mark in magazine cut-off notch. Faded cartouche showing on left side, circle P, and other cartouches underside of grip. Non-sight grooved top wood, shows S maker's mark. Smooth trap butt plate. Wood shows age appropriate wear, minor 1/2" hairline crack at tang. Marring at forward band-retaining clip on right side. Non-military sling. More photos on request.
