SALE PENDING! Here is a very nice condition Savage 99 Series A Model C lever action rifle in .308 Winchester. This one has a nice walnut stock with cut checkering (not impressed checkering) with raised cheek piece, semi-Schnabel finger grooved fore-end and case colored lever. Has Weaver style bases installed ready for a scope. These were made in the mid to late 80's to the best of my knowledge and they featured a detachable box magazine that holds four rounds. They were certainly an upgrade from the standard impressed checkering of the stadard Model C since this has nicer cut checkering. This is a consignment gun - we have never fired it - so no refunds.. Lever operation is completely normal and it has a very nice trigger but we have not chambered a round for safety reasons in the shop. Please refer to the photos for condition (which I think is 95% wood and metal) but you be the judge. I am always happy to take additional photos so you can see what you are buying. No CA sales or to any jurisdiction where this rifle is illegal. Please send a USPS money order or cashiers check and copy of the receiving shop's FFL. Fixed rate shipping quoted is $45 for CONUS only by UPS ground. Happy to answer all your questions to the best of my ability. Inspection (non-firing) starts upon receipt by your FFL and in the unlikely event of a return shipping in both directions is not refundable.
