EXCEPT AS NOTED THIS GUN IS FULLY ORIGINAL; NO REFINISH, NO TOUCH UP NO REPAIRS. THE BLUE IS EXCEPTIONAL AS IS THE ORIGINAL FINISH TO WOOD. THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR MEANINGFUL MARKS OR FLAWS. IT IS A SOLID RIB SKEET MODEL 42. WHAT MIGHT APPEAR TO BE A CHOKE AT THE END OF THE BARREL IS AN INTEGRAL BARREL WEIGHT. IT IS BELIVED THAT ONLY 5 OF THESE WERE MADE FOR SKEET TEAM BY A MASTER GUNSMITH IN CONNECTICUT. WE ARE TOLD THE SMITH WAS GIVEN PROJECTS THAT WINCHESTERS OWN FINE CRAFTSMAN WERE UNABLE TO DO AT THE TIME.
THE CHECKERING SHOWS ALMOST NO WEAR, SAME FOR THE BLUE ON THE RECEIVER.
BARREL LENGTH IS 25 TO END OF WEIGHT. CHAMBERED FOR 3" SHELLS AND MARKED SKEET.

A SET OF CORRECT ORIGINAL SKEET WOOD IN THIS CONDITION ALONE WOULD HAVE HAVE A VALUE OF 1000.00 OR MORE W/O THE GUN.
