Description:

Steyr VK-98 8mm caliber rifle. Very rare Steyr VK 98. Made in 1945. This was one of the last-ditch guns made for the Volkssturm. This gun is serial 7535. It is marked with a “BNZ 45” on the chamber below the rear sight and “Mod 98” above the rear sight. These guns were made for the old men and young boys as last ditch to defend Germany. These guns are known for their crude appearance and consequently, not many of these guns survive today.
