Winchester Model 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Manufactured in 1888. Bore is good with strong rifling. Is somewhat shiny but also has pitting. Gun has approximately 75-80% blue. Stocks are very good plus. Right side of buttstock has an unusual marking possibly a rancher’s property mark. It is a diamond over a circle with the number 42 in the circle. This is a very fine ’73.
