This sale offers a beautiful 12 Ga. L.C. Smith Field grade SxS shotgun. The serial number, 170195, gives it a manufacturer date of 1938. The 30 “ barrels are chambered for 2 ¾” shells and are choked full and modified. The stock rates excellent and has a drop at comb of 1 ½” and a drop at heel of 2 ½” with a length of pull of 14” to the front trigger. The lever at lock-up is well to the right. The gun has obviously seen very little use. I would rate the case hardening and blue as near 100%. Check out the pictures and decide for yourselves. This would make a great vintage gun for sporting clays and equally at home in the field. I accept money orders, cashier’s checks and major credit card with a 3 % surcharge.
