FINE condition original flintlock Model 1819 breech loading rifle. Rifle retains apx 90% original brown lacquer finish. Stock is unsanded and in fine condition. Lock mechanics perfect. Rifled bore is clean and excellent. Rifle has both original sling swivels and ramrod. Top of breech block marked: J. H. HALL H. FERRY U.S. 1838. This rifle is in top+ condition for its age. The Hall rifle was first firearm made with total interchange parts. First regulation breech loading rifle adopted nationally. Remember, this is a rifle and not a musket. Sold as an antique collectors item and not intended for actual use.
