Description:
Colt 1911 Manufactured in 1919, this Colt 1911 is a classic. Barrel is marked with a “G” just forward of the lug and has “Colt .45 Auto” on the side. The barrel hood is unmarked. The grips are Keyes Fiber grips of WWII manufacture. The mainspring housing has a lanyard attachment. Metal bluing condition is approximately 50% with peppery oxidation and light pitting on the slide. Seven round blued magazine with pinned baseplate and marked with Roman “L” indicating MS Little Manufacturing Company of Hartford, CT of early WWII vintage. This 1911 is a good representation of the iconic pistol developed over 100 years ago and still going strong.
