Description:
A rare Model 1879 Remington Whitmore in 10 gauge with the Deeley & Edge forend. It has 30 inch decarbonized steel barrels choked full and full. There is a bulge in the left barrel at about 9 o'clock and starting at 19 1/2 inches from the breech up until about 21 inches from the breech. Beautiful original stocks with no apologies. Some case colors remain on the side locks and all case colors remain on the water tables. Function of the hammers are excellent as well as the firing pins. Locks up tight as new. Original front bead remains. This is a beautiful original and scarce model 1879 with no apologies except the barrel bulge as listed. USPS priority mail is 35.00
