Description:
This is a Rare Mauser made Model 1879 Reichsrevolver with a 1915 dated holster by Schwarzenberger & Co. Nurnberg. The revolver is serial number 3626 and is matching numbers. This on is Mauser marked 1880 in the oval on the left side. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight with an excellent bore, bright and shiny. The frame is dated 1882 and the butt is Unit marked B.2.A.E.1.23. The revolver retains over 80% of the brown finish and all of the markings are sharp and crisp. The holster is intact and solid with all of the stitching. The two belt loops are missing from the rear of this holster and could be replaced. A Mauser made 1879 Reichsrevolver is a Rare and hard to find item. This one is in fantastic condition.
