Description:
A Standard Wartime Commercial Mauser Broomhandle, which was the first model to utilize the "New Safety" design, identified with the "NS" stamped on the back of the hammer. It is fitted with a 5 1/2 inch barrel, 10-shot mag., adjustable 50-1000 meter rear sight, grooved walnut grips, and chambered in .30 Mauser. It is all numbers matching, including the grips. The gun is in excellent original condition, retaining 70% of its original blue finish, with mostly even thinning overall. The grips fit well, and are in fine condition, with even wear and no cracks or chips. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action functions perfectly. A very nice example of its type.
