Mauser 98 Sporter .243 caliber rifle. High quality custom rifle built on a modified commercial Mauser action. Barrel is marked “E.K. ARZT- Weilheim OBB cal .243”. Action and floor plate are scroll engraved. Stock is elegantly carved with wings and looks great. Eagle feathers style checkered. Scope is a vintage 2.75-10x Hertel and REUSS. Pistol grip cap is Ebony and has initials inlaid in. A fine custom Mauser well done. Note: Tyrol cheek rest. Note: When we purchased this rifle, and another similar to this one, we were informed that these were sold to Air Force Officers. The emblem carved into the center of the wings is an Air Force Officers logo.
