Description:
This is a very nice and high conditioned C. Sharps New Model 1863 Carbine. The wood is in excellent condition with a crisp cartouche stamped JTH (?). The barrel is a very strong blue with a few scratches and very minor marks, the bore is mirror bright with nice rifling. The hammer, lever, block, and receiver have very strong case color with blues, grays and purple. The butt plate has case color that is a little more faded but still very good. Most of the screws have a very nice vivid fire-blue. This is a very nice Civil War era carbine.This is an Antique and can be shipped directly to your location in most cases.
