I'm selling a very special Model 70 . I chose this gun for it's caliber .270 incrdably flat shooting and the quality (pre 64) The wood is way above average, looks like a tiger walnut.
I had a Zeiss 2.5x10 Divari on this and it shot beaitifully. I got very tight consistant groups.
The gun is very well balanced, and is just the right weight for me 7.81lb.
I'm 180lb 6' tall . and it's perfect
It comes with Talley Quick release rings and bases, in 30mm .
the finish is a bright Satin not a gloss
The bluing is very good the bore is very clean ,
the action is smooth and the trigger pull is very clean at about 3 lb's
