Sold...JC... fine original Winchester Model 1873 rifle chambered in 22 Short and made in 1886. This rifle is in nice original condition with a substantial amount of bluing still on the receiver and some traces of case colors on the lever and hammer. It has a great bore with strong rifling and still mostly shiny. It has a buckhorn sporting rear sight and an original nbrass bead front sight. The action is perfect with a very smooth and tight lock up. Its original dust cover is tight and has smooth travel and snaps nicely shut. Stocks are excellent, tight with no repairs and original finish. Cody confirmation as it left the factory is in the last picture.
