Description:
Springfield M 1 D Garand, Cal. .30-06, Ser 3709811. This is an original Jan. 1969 Toele Arsenal rebuild as is properly marked on the receiver leg. It was then sold at a DCM in Dec. 1998. It has never been fired and retains 100% of the rebuild Parkerizing.. The gun is a mixture of original Springfield and Winchester parts. The walnut stock is correctly stamped open box "SA" over "RA" on the side, The pistol grip is stamped non serif "P". The barrel is pristine. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling, It comes with a complete set of DCM documentation that lists all the original components shipped with the the gun. These include, the scope, scope case, flash hider, cheek piece leather sling. and anentire cleaning tool set and cases for all the items requiring them. In addition to the original DCM papers we will supply the original shipping box and all the transport documents.This gun is unused and has sat in the deceased home unfired since it was acquired 20 years ago. My collector friend, this gun is pristine with all the original parts and complete documentation. It just doesn't get better than that...... $3995.
