Description:
WWI Colt 1911 Commercial made in 1916 in fair-excellent condition. Not import marked, original finish, no significant wear on the gun except front and back straps. Commercial Colt 1911's produced between 1915 and 1917 are a rare find because most of the guns Colt produced during that time were made for US Government, foreign military contracts, direct sale of commercial guns to other countries (Russian, England, etc). Very good bore, functions fine.
