Description:
Serial #176379K, 7.65mm (.32 ACP), 3 1/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a fabulous pistol that has matching numbers on the frame and slide (scratch numbered on the interior opposite the ejection port) with the metal retaining 95-97% of the original blue finish that has silvered mildly at the muzzle and along a few of the projecting edges and surfaces. The pistol has “(crown)/N" proofs and retains all of the original red paint within the safety/de-cocking lever raceway. The original brown mottled resin grips with NSDAP eagles are in very good shape except for some repaired cracks along the top rear of the right side panel. The pistol comes with two original Walther banner magazines (one with the brown resin finger-rest) and is housed in an original AKAH-made NSDAP eagle embossed holster that is in excellent condition, having only some very minor crazing along the flex points, and is ink-stamped “WALTHER/PPK" on the inside of the cover flap. The interior also has a handwritten owner's name and party rank in faded ink: the name is difficult to make out, but could be “Huber"; below that is “Ortsgr. Leiter" (Ortsgruppenleiter – NSDAP municipal district leader); and the location name, which is illegible. This is a fantastic opportunity to own a highly desirable Third Reich party leader's PPK that is in fine overall condition. It would make a stellar addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
