Description:
Everybody knows the story about the Model 59 with it's infamous fiberglass ramped bbl wonder! You either loved or hated these. In actuality it was a good idea making for a light shotgun. Some people still love hunting with them today. This one is equipped with a 28" modified choked bbl. It has seen some use and the finish is gone part way up the bbl and thinned out in other areas. Markings are still good. Quite a bit of wear to the receiver. Unfortunately one of the weak points of the M-59 was a cracked receiver and this one does have a crack. Wood is relatively good. Some hunting mars and some finish added years back. Later style Winchester pad has been added. Forearm wood is VG. Seems to function ok. The gun is worth this in parts alone.
