AYA is well-known for making side by side shotguns. These are seldom seen in the US, but here is a matched pair for sale, with serial numbers that are just one digit apart from each other. This pair has been upgraded with select wood. The stock features pistols grips, gold ovals. The stocks have a 13-7/8" length of pull, 1-3/8" drop at comb, a 1-7/8" drop at heel, and a 3/16" cast-off for a right-handed shooter. The barrels are 12 gauge with 2-3/4" chambers and 28-inches in length, finished with screw-in chokes. Each gun weighs 7 lb. 9 oz. They are in a game configuration with low-profile vent ribs. These guns also feature automatic ejectors, a cross-bolt locking action, a nice old silver finish, a single selective trigger, and a beautiful full-coverage foliate hand engraving. These are completely hand-made and hand-engraved full sidelocks from this famed Spanish maker and is a tremendous bargain at this price.
