High Standard Supermatic " Victor" (Hamden, CT). Rare 4 1/2" Barrel. This was the very last, and finest model made by the original High Standard company. The condition is just about super. The gun retains about 99% of the original factory finish. The only loss is due to some very slight sharp edge silver and a few minor edge nicks . The grip straps have not started to tone, which is usually evidence of little use. The slide rails, and bolt face show little wear, evidence of little use. The walnut thumb rest grips a perfect . No splits, chips or flattened points, anywhere. The grip screws are in no way damaged. The bore , like the rest of the gun is “minty”, mirror bright with razor sharp rifling, not a touch of frost anywhere. It comes with one original magazine and the very scarce original full length barrel weight.This is a two point winner.
