Original owner of this 1968 gun.Almost no field use,just occasional range use.Looks great as a "three footer" A presentable quality shooter that up close has some boo-boos added by my youther,untalented self.
Two dings on the left side barrel where I used the wrong type of punch to remove the rear sight for scope use long ago.The rear sight shown is a proper vintage replacement in excellent condition.
Honey color French walnut.Two small dings on the right side of the stock.One with some evidence of polishing(I can't get it to photograph.Upper center of right side) and the other with definite evidence of overpolishing.The second one,which is low on the stock,just ahead of the butt plate, has a bald spot in the finish,about a half inch long,the size of a baked bean..
The left sife of the stock and the forearm are in perfect,as new condition
The blue is in very good condition, noting that assembly and disassembly with a Browning cantilever base has left a typical wear line across the top of the receiver. (The base is not included in this sale.) Shipping will be $30 for insured shipping,FFL to FFL.
