Description:
Here is a Winchester Model 12 pump action shotgun, made just prior to WW2. It is a somewhat rare and harder to find 20 gauge model. Serial number 897334, dates to 1941. Serial number appears on the receiver and magazine tube. The 28 inch barrel has a fixed modified choke. 2 3/4 inch chambers. Length of pull is 14 inches.
his Model 12 is in very good used condition. It has not been reblued. The gun shows a fair amount of bluing loss on the barrel, probably from handling over the years, but no pitting. There are some minor scratches on the metal but no major dings. The bore is mirror bright. The walnut stock and circular grooved forearm are very nice, with no major dings and no cracks. Black plastic buttplate reads "Winchester Repeating Arms Co.". We test fired the shotgun and it performs perfectly.
