Description:
The Remington Model 740 "Woodsmaster" is a hunting rifle that was made in the mid-1950s and ended production in 1959. This Remington is a very well balanced hunting rifle and shoots a .30-06 cartridge that is capable of taking down all large game in North America. The stock is made of very sturdy American Walnut that has some varnish taken away on both the hand guard and rear stock. The stock has two tiny hairline surface cracks that have been professionally repaired. The metal is in pristine condition with very few scratches with the finish at 99%. The bore is very crisp, like the gun has never been shot before and has no frosting. The gun comes with a warn sling that is being thrown in for free and one 4 round mag. The scope is a original Redfield 3x-9x wide array that is in pristine condition... $375 OBO
