Description:
Civil War contract musket by S. Norris and Clement. Gun is complete and original and in over all good Cond. Stock is sound and solid with an old fracture at the wrist and a faint cartouche on the left flat. All metal is aged dark with pitting. Lockplate has good markings of 1864 and S. N. & W.T.C. / For Massachusetts, as this gun was one of the 11000 contracted for the state during the war. A good looking old Civil War musket. The fracture is tight and solid.
