A. WATERS U.S. MODEL 1836 PERCUSSION CONE CONVERSION PISTOL DATED 1841. .54 caliber 8 ½” smoothbore barrel with “NWP” U.S. Govt. Sub-Inspector’s stamp. 1850’s era conversion. Lock plate stamped “EAGLE HEAD/A. WATERS/MILBURY, MS./1841” and the letter “H”. All original and very good with the original patinated finish on both metal and wood. Visible inspector’s cartouche on stock. Working order and very good bore. Many used in the Civil War particularly in the earlier years.
