A. WATERS U.S. MODEL 1836 FLINTLOCK PISTOL DATED 1837. .54 caliber smoothbore 8½” barrel proofed and inspected “U.S./JA/P”. Lock plated stamped “EAGLE HEAD/A. WATERS/MILBURY MS./1837”. Stock with visible inspector’s cartouche opposite the lock. 100% original to the last screw and in very good original condition. Metal with the original deep patina with minor light salt and peppering that will clean well. Stock with the original patinated finish. Lock in working order and reasonably good for. Seminole War date and still in limited use during the Mexican War.
