Description:
Here is another piece of history from the late 1800's Very nice Springfield US Model 1864 musket with the Allin 1866 conversion to a trapdoor .50-70, appears to be all original and in good condition. Some pitting and oxidation is to be expected. Very nice collectible rifle.

Metal Condition: Faded bluing on the barrel with fading on the receiver and side plate.
Wood Condition: Smooth oiled walnut stock. Very good condition considering the age of the firearm.

Triggers: Single trigger with 2 step hammer cocking.
