Payment Types Accepted: PayPal, cash, or bank wire Description: I bought this gun new at Scheels Hardware in St. Cloud, Minnesota, in 1975, and it's lived most of its life in Alaska because I sold bush planes and helicopters up there for 50 years. I've carried it on countless adventures from Cold Bay, on the tip of the Alaskan Peninsula, to the Arctic Ocean, north of the Brooks Range, and in a million places in between. It's featured on Pages 23 and 36 in my best-selling bear book, Fighting for your Life: Man-eater Bears, where I tell about a standoff with a black bear and the killing of a hybrid wolf on a wild rampage in a trailer park in Willow, Alaska. It's killed a couple bears as well that I didn't write about because I didn't want to discuss those scary experiences with the powers-to-be, not to mention it's impossible to do so when you're a million miles in the middle of nowhere and the bear just tried to chew up my helicopter's tail rotor. Not good at all. Anyway, if you want to own a celebrity firearm owned by a half-assed famous author and bush pilot, here's your chance. What's more, it will come with an autographed book proving its part in Alaska's history, right along with the belt and holster you see in my pictures.
