Description:
U.S. Springfield Krag rifle-30/40 caliber. Serial number is in the correct range for a carbine and made in 1901. Barrel is slightly too long and no C mark on sight. Good wood,good bore, nice sling. Great rifle and smooth as silk. Could be one that went back for a barrel change. Correct butt plate with opening. Cartouche is there but faint. Will make a great shooter or vintage hunting rifle.I am open to trades of certain types. Selling my 50+ yr. collection.
