Description:
Presented for sale, you will find a Remington Model 11 chambered for 2 ¾” 12 gauge ammunition. This is an early Model with the safety in the trigger guard. This old girl started having a whole lot of fun, in my opinion, before the War. I could not read or find a barrel code. I would not have much confidence of one if I could find it. Folks swapped barrels on these like we change chokes today.
Remington produced the Model 11 with an agreement with Mr. John Moses Browning. The Remington Model 11 is built off the Browning A5 patent. I grew up shooting a Model 11 along with a lot of other hand-me-downs (that I treasure today).
It is in remarkably good shape for the miles it has on it. It has been hunted with but taken care of. The original owner has been gone for a while.
In my opinion, this Model 11 Remington warrants an NRA rating of Good. The metal and wood show wear but not abuse. It was CLEAN when we received it which tells me the shotgun was well taken care of.
