Description:

A. Hoffman Cape Gun. Shotgun barrel is a 16 Ga with 2½” chamber. Rifle barrel is marked on the water table as 10.8 x 47R. Our research finds 10.8x47R Martini Target in the book, Cartridges of the World. Bores of both barrels are very good. The action works very well. Barrels length is 26⅜”. Length of pull is 13½”. Shotgun barrel is Damascus. The stocks are about very good. Note: There was a bullet trap under the stock that has been removed and replaced with a wood insert. Gun is tastefully engraved. This is a blackpowder shotgun barrel. DO NOT SHOOT with modern smokeless powder. A. Hoffman worked in Magdeburg, Germany.
