Description:
Serial #6510, .36 Caliber, 7 1/2" octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1972-made revolver that has retained practically all of the original bright, commercial blue finish without even a turn-ring on the cylinder. The frame and lever have nearly all of their original vivid color case-hardening remaining, and all of the silver plate remains on the trigger guard and backstrap. The walnut grip is also in excellent, nearly unused condition. The revolver is housed in an original gray velvet-lined presentation case with: silver plated Dixon powder flask, an original double cavity iron mould, japanned tin of Eley caps, nipple wrench, and some old, oxidized lead bullets. Also included are the original two-piece yellow and brown Colt cardboard box (numbered to the gun on the end of the lid), and the original papers. This is a spectacular 2nd Generation '51 Navy, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. Antique
