Description:
Serial #418192, .30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1910 manufactured rifle that has a 3-10 dated, “SA" barrel, and retains about 92-95% plus of the original blue on the receiver and barrel with some mild silvering at the muzzle and some dark gray fading along the top radius and rear of the receiver. Some further small spots of fading are present on the bearing surfaces of the bolt body and on the handle. The walnut stock and handguard have an excellent original oil finish with crisp “J.F.C." cartouche, and a stenciled, unit marking and number on the right side of the buttstock (“C/W" or “O/W" over “2"). There are some scattered minor handling marks and blemishes throughout but they are very mild and do not detract from the otherwise excellent wood. An original sheet metal front sight hood is installed, and and an original nickel steel oiler is present in the stock trap. This is an excellent 1910 spec '03 that would make a fabulous addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
