Here is a great little Home Protection Gun. A Modified Colt's Model 1917 .45 ACP two inch revolver. This revolvers barrel has been shortened to two inches and the trigger guard has been trimmed for fast access as a conceal carry gun. The two inch barrels bore is perfect. The timing, index and lock up is perfect. The person who started this project apparently knew what they were doing. The grip frame has also been shortened and modified for smaller more controllable stocks. Presently there are a pair Pachmeyers on this revolver which work fine, however I would take my time to find stocks a little smaller for carry comfort. Great little carry gun!
