Description:
We have a very nice shooter condition Marlin 1893 in 38-55 up for sale. This is a 1900 production "Special Smokeless Steel" marked rifle with a 26" octaginal barrel. Bore is frosty as you'd expect but with sharp rifling and a clean crown. The action locks up tight and the trigger breaks crisply. Sights are standard elevation adjustable rear with leaf front. The rear appears to be missing the fine adjustment insert but the lock screw is present. The wood condition is quite good with only minor dings from storage and handling. At some point, the rifle looks to have had sling swivels installed but have long-since been removed leaving two neat holes, one in the stock and another in the foreend cap. The rifle was acquired from an estate and we rate the finish at around 60-65%. As such, we have priced this rifle to move. Shipping will be a flat $50.
