REDUCED - A model 53 in this condition is mighty hard to find, but a 53 Deluxe Takedown is about impossible in this condition, and yet here it is. Overall this takedown Model 53 Deluxe is about 96-97 percent. The only blemish being a dent in the forearm checkering (see photos). Everything else is just as shown in the photos including the tang sight and factory blank in the rear sight slot of the barrel. Bore and chamber are as expected with a high condition gun like this. This rifle was made in 1927, according to my date chart. They were mixed right in with model 1892's as far as serial numbers were concerned. Serial number on this rifle is 995108. Needs to be in a museum or advanced collection.
