Civil War / Indian Wars Spencer Model 1860 saddle Ring Carbine .52. The serial number of this example is 242XX placing date of manufacture in 1863. Overall condition is fine with the Case Colored receiver mostly silvered out. The Barrel has retained 85% of the original factory rust blue toned to an even blue / plum patina. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is Mirror from breech to muzzle. Both Cartouches are crisp and undamaged!
