Up for your consideration, returning for the first time ever from the great state of Alaska we present this slightly used (unconfirmed number of grizzly kills) S&W Model 500 in the infamous .500 Smith and Wesson Magnum caliber. This X-frame, 5 shot, DA revolver dwarfs the S&W model 29, .44 magnum when compared side to side. This icy stainless steel .500 magnum is outfitted with a two-piece 4", fully shrouded ported barrel, recoil compensator, the newer Sorbothane Hogue wraparound rubber finger groove grips. It has the original micrometer click adjustable rear sight, red ramp front sight. The frame is drilled and tapped for a scope, however there is no evidence of a scope ever having been mounted. The revolver does come with some honest wear and obvious signs of use. There are a few small nicks on the bottom of the trigger guard. And perhaps a minor scratch here or there as evidenced in the pics. No major dings or gouges however and this baby locks up tight and is ready for re-deployment to Alaska or wherever else it may be needed next.
